Red Cross

Inspired’s creative team devised a unique concept to tie in with Red Cross national campaign to focus on the plight of refugees and asylum seekers, often vulnerable, desperate and without a voice. Many arrive with just the clothes on their backs, nothing more. To counter them being increasingly dehumanised, stigmatised and alienated by an influential mainstream media and across social media, fuelled by falsehoods and fake news, we were inspired to create the film ‘I am a human’. It aims to spread facts not fear, get the story straight, and make audiences realise that asylum seekers and refugees are sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters. They are just like you and I. “They are human.”
